Super stoked to announce volume 09 of the Dataset Exclusive Mix series, featuring none other than Abjo.
A San Diego based producer that caught my eye (and ears) for the first time, during an unexpected set with hip-hop legend Mr. Brady from Deep Rooted. I remember being completed blown away by his production and approaching him after their amazing set to express my admiration. After that, we crossed paths at the producer’s meet-up at Kava Lounge where Abjo will always play some of his productions. Always fresh, always musical, mellow atmospheres with warm tones and a dash of soul is how I can describe his sound.
