Last updated 22 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dataset ("Dataset," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or buy from feeldataset.com (the "Site"), or otherwise communicate with us (together, the "Services"). "You" means anyone whose personal information we collect through the Services, including customers and site visitors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. We will post the revised version on the Site, update the "Last updated" date, and take any other steps the law requires.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: name, address, phone number, and email
  • Order details: billing and shipping address, payment confirmation, email, and phone number
  • Account details, if you create an account
  • Support details: anything you include when you contact us, including photos submitted with a return or warranty claim
  • Marketing preferences: newsletter and product alert signups

If you choose not to provide certain information, some features of the Services may not be available to you.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we and our service providers automatically collect information about your interaction with them ("Usage Data"). This includes device and browser information, network connection, IP address, pages viewed, and items added to your cart. We collect it using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies ("Cookies").

Information from third parties

We receive information from service providers that help us run the Services:

  • Shopify, which powers our store
  • Payment processors, which collect payment details such as card information and billing address to process your order. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Carriers and fulfillment partners, which share delivery and address-correction information so we can ship and support your order

We are not responsible for the accuracy of information third parties provide to us, or for their policies and practices.

How we use your information

Providing the Services. To perform our contract with you, we use your information to process payments, fulfill and ship orders, manage your account, handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims, and send order-related messages.

Marketing. With your consent where required, we use your email address to send product alerts and news from Dataset. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.

Security and fraud prevention. In our legitimate interest in protecting the business and our customers, we use your information to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and bulk purchasing for resale. If you have an account, keep your login details secure and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Customer support. In our legitimate interest in responding to you and improving the Services, we use your information to answer questions and resolve issues.

Legal compliance. We use your information as needed to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

Cookies

We use Cookies to run the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the Services. For information about the Cookies Shopify uses to power our store, see https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies.

Where the law requires consent for non-essential Cookies, we ask for it through the cookie banner on the Site. You can also block or delete Cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not work correctly as a result.

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for responding to these signals, we do not currently respond to them.

Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this policy and honor opt-out requests, including Global Privacy Control signals, where the law requires.

How we disclose your information

We disclose personal information only as needed to operate the business:

  • To service providers that act on our behalf, including for payment processing, fulfillment, shipping, email, analytics, customer support, and hosting
  • When you direct us to, such as when a carrier needs your address to deliver your order
  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • To comply with the law, respond to legal requests, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others

In the past 12 months, we have disclosed the following categories of personal information to the recipients above: identifiers (contact, order, and account details), commercial information (order and support history), and internet activity (Usage Data).

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Third-party links

The Site may link to websites and platforms run by others, such as Spotify, Apple Music, Mixcloud, and Instagram. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. Information you share on third-party platforms may be visible to other users of those platforms.

Children

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16.

Security and retention

No security measure is perfect, and information sent over the internet may not be secure in transit. Please do not send sensitive information to us through unsecured channels.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Order and tax records are kept for the period required by law. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep a minimal record so we can continue to honor your opt-out.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and learn how we use and disclose it
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete your personal information
  • Receive a copy of your personal information and have it transferred to a third party
  • Restrict our processing of your personal information
  • Object to our processing, including for direct marketing
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it
  • Appeal our decision if we decline your request

To exercise any of these rights, email info@feeldataset.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, and we may require proof of their authority and verify your identity directly. We will respond within the time required by law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

If you opt out of marketing emails, we will still send messages about your orders and account.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal information, contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may appeal by contacting us again, or, depending on where you live, lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International users

We are based in the United States, and your personal information is processed there and in other countries where our service providers operate. When we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Japan, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions, as applicable.
